Homogeneous PVC Flooring is, in its simplest definition, PVC floor coverings made from the same raw material inside and out.

Homogeneous PVC flooring is primarily preferred for its durable properties and is a product group that pioneered PVC flooring. As the definition implies, the product is a single layer, and its inside and outside have the same pattern and structure. Although it is presented as a presentation that the same product will be visible in case of wear, manufacturers have developed surface protection systems (guard) to prevent this wear. Nowadays, it is rare to find a product that does not use these protective (guard) chemicals on its content or surface. Periodic polishing applications may be required in high-traffic areas such as hospitals and schools, depending on wear. Generally described as non-directional in specifications, the product is designed to minimize waste and has a limited design with a slightly sandy appearance. It can be produced in unlimited colors but in a limited variety of patterns. Products defined by the Ministry of Public Works with various specifications have been intensively used in state tenders, and over time, they have had to share their market share with heterogeneous products.

The application principles are generally the same as commercial-type heterogeneous PVC coverings (except conductive). The obvious difference in application is the significant effect of the ambient temperature on the product. In very cold areas, the application of the product may require heating. The indisputable advantage of homogeneous PVC is in certain areas such as operating theaters and information communication centers where there is a need for conductive (fully conductive) properties. The production of fully conductive products is only done in homogeneous PVC coverings.
