Laminate Flooring

Laminate Flooring

Laminate Flooring is more economical, versatile in design, and practical compared to Solid Wood Flooring. It is a natural wood floor covering product with a top layer consisting of natural wood material, typically between 2 to 5 mm, assembled in a perpendicular manner using light woods such as poplar and birch.

The thickness of the top layer allows for the application of surface treatment one or two times, depending on its thickness. Krom Yapı offers competitive prices in both material and application with brands like GRABO and BILLA in Laminate Flooring.

Laminate flooring is a durable and stylish floor covering type that is produced entirely with natural wood materials by gluing 2 or 3 different layers perpendicular to each other. There are two different types of laminate flooring:

2-Layer Laminate Flooring:

The bottom layer is made from soft woods (such as poplar, birch, etc.), enhancing the resistance of the flooring to twisting and providing balance. The top layer is made from hard woods that give the real appearance to the flooring and is resistant to crushing and scratching. 2-layer laminate flooring is more flexible than 3-layer laminate flooring, making it a preferred choice for flooring-related issues.

3-Layer Laminate Flooring:

The bottom layer is made from soft woods (such as poplar, birch, etc.), the middle layer from moderately hard woods, and the top layer from hard woods. The three layers are completely natural wood materials, assembled at right angles to each other under heat and pressure.

General Features of Laminate Flooring:

  • 100% natural wood, absorbs human body electricity
  • Scratch-resistant, wear-resistant, and durable against impacts
  • Suitable for underfloor heating
  • Does not contain carcinogenic substances
